le sigh.
LJ is really awesome. and dreamy. and buying me cookbooks. and creating new years plans.
I'm happy. like, really happy.

oh.
AND.
excuse me while I brag...
(and do a little dance, while singing bi-bim-bap to the tune of hot cross buns)

This conversation happened when I got home.
mom: J, when are you finished with school? what's your summer plans look like?
j: around june 1/2 or so. plus contingency days. Well, pending that I'm not still job searching, I'm planning on coming home for a few months and picking up my old huntington job.
mom: Can you put off working at huntington till end of june? Your dad and I want to take the new orient express from venice to rome. You want to go?
j: like you even had to ask. OF COURSE I WANT TO!!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!!!

Last Christmas when my mother was convinced she was going to die and telling me where everything was located for the future- she told me the only thing she wanted to see and never got to was rome.
I'm SO stoked that not only do I get to go back to roma- but I get to do it with her.

It's going to rule. I'm thinking: seeing awesome stuff (including the creepy monks that make stuff with bones), drinking on the spanish stairs, yelling not understandable nonsense, and eating really good food all. the. time.
Who wants to go?!
